廣西醫科大學第二附屬醫院（第二臨床醫學院）是廣西醫科大學直屬附屬醫院，成立于2003年3月27日，同年10月9日并入廣西醫科大學第一附屬醫院，更名為廣西醫科大學第一附屬醫院西院，2017年1月1日重新恢復獨立運營管理。經過近三年的建設與發展，醫院整體綜合實力快速提升，區域輻射能力明顯增強，行業地位和社會聲譽顯著提高，已成為集醫療、教學、科研、保健及康復為一體的三級甲等綜合性醫院，是廣西重要的優質醫療資源和廣西醫科大學主要的臨床教學基地，是國家藥物臨床試驗機構（呼吸、消化、心血管、腎病、內分泌、免疫、放射治療、腫瘤共8個專業）、廣西首家航空醫學救援基地醫院、廣西航空醫學救援培訓基地、廣西首家“全民健康管理示范醫院”、國家第一批腫瘤（消化系統）多學科診療試點醫院和廣西急救醫學質量控制中心、廣西疼痛醫學質量控制中心的掛靠單位。醫院先后榮獲了2017年度國家衛計委“改善醫療服務示范醫院”、2018年度《中國衛生》雜志社“管理創新醫院”、“自治區衛生系統集體二等功醫院”和“2019年全國人文愛心醫院”等榮譽稱號。
一、醫院環境與規模
醫院位于南寧市西鄉塘區的相思湖畔大學東路166號，毗鄰高新技術開發區, 周邊高校云集，環境優美，交通便利，區域醫療資源薄弱，具有得天獨厚的地域優勢。占地面積168畝（其中在征用地60畝），總建筑面積43656㎡。醫院實際開放床位1108張，現設有33個臨床科室、33個專科門診、12個醫技科室，提供特色專病門診、疑難病多學科會診等診療服務。急診科全天24小時開診。醫院2018年門急診患者77萬人次，出院患者3.3萬人次，手術1.4萬臺次。“十三五”期間病床數將增至1500張以上，同時正規劃建設廣西精神衛生與康復醫學中心及廣西突發急性傳染病臨床救治中心。
二、人才隊伍與結構
醫院目前在職職工1823人，在職職工中衛技人員占90.1%，其中，正高職稱81人，副高職稱133人，學科首席和特聘專家7人，博士74人（另有職工在讀博士24人），博士生導師10人，碩士生導師72人，醫生中具有碩士以上學歷比例近90%。國家級學術組織常務委員2人、委員78人，省級學術組織主任委員20人、副主任委員56人、常務委員59人。
三、學科建設與優勢
醫院學科設置較齊全，技術力量較雄厚，綜合實力排在自治區前列，醫院學科建設重點突出，專科門類齊全，學科特色優勢明顯。與廣西醫科大學第一附屬醫院共同建設國家級臨床重點專科6個（重癥醫學科、急診醫學科、呼吸內科、普通外科、腫瘤科、臨床護理專業），擁有自治區臨床重點建設專科4個（內分泌科、康復醫學科、心理衛生科、血液科）和自治區臨床重點建設專科（孵化）2個（醫學影像科、醫學檢驗科），器官移植科具有肝臟、腎臟、心臟、肺臟、胰腺5個種類器官移植執業資質。特色優勢學科-急診科是廣西醫學救援協會會長單位和廣西航空醫學救援聯盟會長單位，應急救援力量強大，2018年牽頭成立中國—東盟醫院合作聯盟急診?？瓶缇翅t聯體，承擔著區域內重大突發公共衛生事件的救治任務及其它重要的醫療保障任務。同時，醫院著力打造多個品牌醫療中心（急救創傷中心、器官移植中心、微創外科中心、胸痛中心、高級卒中中心、肺癌診療中心、眩暈診療中心），不斷完善多學科協作的綜合治療體系，不斷強化學科建設。
 四、醫療技術與特色

 醫院在提供全面醫療保健服務前提下，形成了以重點學科為引領的特色醫療體系，特別是器官移植中心在肝移植、腎移植、肝腎聯合移植、胰腎聯合移植、捐獻器官功能評估與修復、移植圍手術期處理、移植重癥、移植術后隨訪診治、體外膜肺氧合（ECMO）技術等專業領域處于國際先進、國內領先水平。創傷急救（包括蛇傷救治）、微創外科、心臟射頻消融、呼吸內科氣管內介入診療、眩暈癥外科治療、氣管-食道瘺等復雜瘺修補、消化內鏡診療、危重癥救治（ECMO技術）、心理疾病早期規范化診療、小兒腦癱與重癥康復、各種慢性及頑固性疼痛治療等多項特色技術處于區內領先、國內先進水平。
五、主要設備與平臺
 醫院擁有大批高精尖醫療設備，尤其是配備的飛利浦顯微256CT、西門子128層雙源螺旋CT、GE3.0T磁共振、瓦里安VitalBeam直線加速器、邁柯維ECMO、STORZ一體化手術室、紅外視頻多軸向旋轉BPPV復位轉椅、數字減影血管造影（DSA）、數字胃腸攝片機、貝克曼大型全自動生化分析儀、高檔彩色多譜勒超聲儀、進口腹腔鏡、OLYMPUS電子胃鏡與支氣管鏡、立體定向導航手術系統、共焦激光眼底掃描系統、心臟主動脈內球囊反搏泵、人工心肺系統、西門子醫學影像信息系統（PACS系統）、手術實時轉播系統等設備，是全國首家（飛利浦）“規范化影像檢查質控培訓基地”和廣西首家“綠色CT掃描中心”。
六、醫學教育與培訓
醫院高度重視教學工作，先后投入近1900萬元建成臨床技能模擬訓練中心并配備先進教學設備，臨床醫學專業是一級學科碩士、博士學位授權點。是國家住院醫師規范化培訓基地、首批專科醫師規范化培訓制度試點?？漆t師培訓基地（普通外科），并且，臨床技能模擬訓練中心是國家醫學考試中心醫師資格考試臨床類別分階段考試第二階段實證研究基地和住院醫師規范化培訓結業考核基地，可滿足多學科、多層次技能培訓需求。目前，醫院承擔臨床醫學、麻醉、康復、護理等專業實習、全日制研究生（碩士、博士）的臨床輪轉及科研指導工作，同時，積極承接東盟留學生教學工作，現已接收東盟國家留學生43名。
七、科研學術與實力
醫院致力于醫教研協同發展，在推動醫教進步的同時，致力于提升科研實力，先后建立了科研平臺4個（廣西醫科大學第二附屬醫院臨床醫學研究中心、聯合生命科學研究中心、廣西醫科大學第二附屬醫院-加拿大神經精神疾病重點實驗室、廣西醫科大學第二附屬醫院-美國密西西比大學藥理學與毒理學聯合實驗室）。近兩年，科研立項108項（其中國家自然科學基金6項），科研獲獎20余項，發表論文375篇，其中，SCI論文75 篇。

八、國際交流與合作
醫院包容并蓄，國際合作日趨活躍。已連續成功舉辦三屆“中國-東盟國際急診醫學高峰論壇”，并牽頭成立中國-東盟醫院合作聯盟急診專科跨境醫聯體，初步形成東盟輻射網絡。同時，已啟動DNV GL國際標準認證項目，在推動醫院高質量發展的同時為醫院國際化發展奠定基礎。并與美國密西西比大學醫學中心、國家“雙一流”高校電子科技大學等多家國內外單位開展跨區域學科合作，為人才培養搭建交流平臺。

The Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University (The Second Clinical Medical College) was established on March 27^th , 2003. It was merged into the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University on October 9^th，2003, and converted to the West Hospital of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University. The hospital started to operate independently and restored the name as the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University on January 1^st, 2017. In more than two years of construction and development, the overall comprehensive strength of the hospital has been improved rapidly. The hospital’sregional influence has been significantly enhanced. In addition, the hospital’s professional and social reputation has been significantly improved. It has become a Grade A Class Ⅲ  comprehensive hospital integrating medicine, education, research and preventive medicine. The hospital is excellent medical resource in Guangxi , the main clinical practice base for Guangxi Medical University, the national standardized training base for residents, the general surgery specialized training base for specialists, the first aviation medical rescue base hospital in Guangxi, the aviation medical rescue training base in Guangxi, the first "national health management model  hospital" in Guangxi, the first batch of national multi-disciplinary tumor (digestive system) diagnosis and treatment experimental hospital, the Guangxi emergency medical quality control center, and the Guangxi pain medical quality control center. The hospital has awarded the honorary titles of "Model Hospital for Improving Medical Services" by theNational Health Commission in 2017, "Management Innovation Hospital" by China Health magazine in 2018, "Collective award of Second-Class Hospital of Autonomous Region Health System" and "2019 China Hospital Humanistic Brand Innovation Case Award".
I. Hospital Environment and Scale
The hospital is located at 166 DaXue Dong Road, Xiangsi Lake area of Xixiangtang District, Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.  It is adjacent to the High-tech Development Zone and surrounded by many colleges and universities, which take good advantage of peripheral environment, such as beautiful view, convenient transportation, weak regional medical resources and unique geographical advantages. The hospital covers an area of 168 mu (including 60 mu of land is in requisition), with overall construction area of 43656㎡. The hospital actually has 1108 beds, and 33 clinical departments, 33 specialized outpatient clinicsand 12 medical and technical departments, and provides diagnosis and treatment servicesincluding specialized outpatient clinics and multidisciplinary consultation of difficult diseases. Emergency department is open 24 hours a day. In 2018, the hospital provided 770,000 outpatient and emergency patients service, including 33,000 discharged patients and 14,000 surgeries. During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, the number of hospital beds will increase to more than 1500. Simultaneously, the Guangxi Mental Health and Rehabilitation Medical Center and Guangxi Clinical Treatment Center for Sudden Acute Infectious Diseases is in construction.
Ⅱ.The staff team and Structure
At present, the hospital has 1,693 employees, 81.9% of whom are medical and technical staff. Among them, 76 have acquired professional titles, 133 have acquired vice professional titles, involving 4 subject chief and special experts. 72 have acquired doctor degree, 10 are doctoral supervisors, 72 are master supervisors, and nearly 90% of clinical doctors have acquiredmaster's degree or above. There are 2 standing committee members and 39 membersin national academic organizations. There are 20 members, 31 vice-chairmen and 49 standing members in provincial academic organizations.
Ⅲ.Discipline Construction and Advantages
The hospital has a complete set of disciplines, strong technical force, and comprehensive strength, making it rank top hospitals in Guangxi autonomous region. The hospital hasseveral key discipline constructions, a complete range of specialties and a prominent comprehensive advantage of multi-disciplinary combination.  6 national key clinical specialties (intensive medicine, emergency medicine, respiratory medicine, general surgery, oncology, and clinical nursing) communicated with the 1^st affiliated hospital has been constructed, 3 autonomous regional key construction specialties (endocrinology, rehabilitation, and mental health), and a series of work such as the establishment of organ transplantation department have completed. The characteristic and advantageous discipline-emergency department is the president unit of Guangxi medical rescue association and the president unit of Guangxi aviation medical rescue alliance. the emergency rescue force is strong. in 2018, the emergency department established the China-ASEAN hospital cooperation alliance emergency specialist cross-border medical association, which undertakes the rescue task of major public health emergencies and other important medical security task in peripheral region. Meanwhile, the hospital made great efforts to build six brand medical centers (emergency trauma center, minimally invasive surgery center, chest pain center, advanced stroke center, lung cancer diagnosis and treatment center, vertigo diagnosis and treatment center), continuously improve the comprehensive treatment system of multidisciplinary cooperation, and constantly strengthen the discipline construction.
Ⅳ.Medical technology and Characteristics
On the premise of providing comprehensive medical and health care services, the hospital has formed a characteristic medical system led by key disciplines. Many characteristic technologies such as trauma first aid (including snake wound treatment), minimally invasive surgery, cardiac radiofrequency ablation, endotracheal interventional diagnosis and treatment in respiratory medicine, vertigo surgical treatment, repair of complex fistula such as tracheoesophageal fistula, digestive endoscopy diagnosis and treatment, critical care (ECMO technology), diagnosis and treatment of psychological diseases, infantile cerebral palsy and severe rehabilitation, and treatment of various chronic and intractable pains are at advanced level in Guangxi region even in China.

The hospital has a large number of advanced medical equipment. Especially the Philips micro 256CT, Siemens 128-slice Shuang Yuan spiral CT, GE3.0T magnetic resonance, Varian VitalBeam linear accelerator, McCoviecmo, STORZ integrated operating room, infrared video multi-axial rotation BPPV reset swivel chair, digital subtraction angiography (DSA), digital gastrointestinal radiographer, Beckman large automatic biochemical analyzer, high-grade color Doppler ultrasound instrument, imported laparoscope, OLYMPUS electronic gastroscope and bronchoscope, stereotactic navigation surgery system, confocal laser fundus scanning system, intra-aortic balloon pump, artificial heart and lung system, Siemens medical imaging information system (PACS system), real-time operation relay system and other equipment make the hospital at the leading level in the region and even in China, make the first (Philips) "standardized image examination quality control training base" in the country and the first "green CT scanning center" in Guangxi.
Ⅵ.Medical education and training
The hospital attaches great importance to education work and has invested nearly 19 million yuan to build a clinical skills simulation training center equipped with advanced teaching equipment. The clinical medicine specialty is an authorization point for master's and doctor's degrees in first-class disciplines. It is a national standardized training base for residents and a specialized training base (general surgery) for the first batch of standardized training system for specialists. Moreover, the clinical skills simulation training center is a second-stage empirical research base for the phased examination of clinical categories for the national medical examination center's physician qualification examination and a final assessment base for standardized training for residents, which can meet the needs of multi-disciplinary and multi-level skills training. At present, the hospital undertakes professional practice in clinical medicine, anesthesia and rehabilitation, clinical rotation and scientific research guidance for full-time graduate students (master's degree and doctor's degree). At the same time, it actively undertakes the teaching work for ASEAN foreign students, and has received 43 foreign students from ASEAN countries so far.
Ⅶ.Scientific Research Academic  and Strength
The hospital is committed to the coordinated development of clinical education and research. On one hand, we promoting the progress of medical education, on the other hand, we also committed to enhancing scientific research strength. The hospital has successively established four scientific research platforms (the Clinical Medical Research Center of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University, the United Life Science Research Center, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University-Canada Key Laboratory of Neuropsychiatric Diseases, and the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University-United Laboratory of Pharmacology and Toxicology of Mississippi University in the United States). In the past two years, 108 scientific research projects have been initiated (including 6 National Natural Science Foundation), more than 20 scientific research awards have beenawarded, 375 papers have been published, including 75 SCI papers.

Ⅷ.International exchange and cooperation
The communication and exchange with international is increasing.We have successfully held three consecutive "China-ASEAN International Emergency Medicine Summit Forum" and led the establishment of the China-ASEAN Hospital Cooperation Alliance Cross-border Emergency Medicine Joint Body, initially forming the ASEAN Radiation Network. Simultaneously, the DNV GL international standard certification project has been started, which promotes the high-quality development of hospitals and lays the foundation for the internationalization of hospitals. It has also carried out cross-regional disciplinary cooperation with many domestic and foreign institutions such as the medical center of the university of Mississippi in the United States and the national "double-first-class" university - electronic science and technology university aiming at building an exchange platform for personnel training.
